Name: Skipper
Meaning: Ship captain/master Nickname: Skip Age: 19 years old Species: Border Collie Size:
Birthplace: Undisclosed Languages: English, French, Spanish Orientation: Panromantic Asexual Relationship: In a relationship with Brigade Love Style: Agape Occupation: Full-time college student, works part-time as a library assistant |
D&D Alignment: Neutral Good
Myers-Briggs Type: ISFJ Personality: Skipper's most defining trait is her altruism. She lives by the ideal that all people are inherently good, and as such, treats everyone she meets with genuine compassion and kindheartedness. The downside to her gentle nature is that she is often mistaken for a pushover: while she does have the strength to put her foot down, she often doesn't so that she can please others. She's peaceful, looking to avoid conflict whenever possible, but being equally unafraid to deal with it. Despite being the type who goes by feeling, Skipper's surprising analytical abilities grant her great people skills. Above all, Skipper values inner peace, security and loyalty (personal over institutional). Contrary to her passive nature and "I'm just glad you're enjoying it/I'm just happy to be here/I'm happy if you're happy" attitude, she has the tendency to be stubborn and extremely hesitant to/oppose change if it can be avoided. Skipper is a bit of a control freak, but does it quietly, due to her quiet nature. She won't get on your case, but it'll be on her mind. |

Relationships
- Ashton: One of Skipper's dearest (as well as oldest, in terms of lasting and not personal age) friends. Ashton's confidence is often the inspiration for Skipper's own to keep going, as well as her encouragement to speak up where she would normally remain silent to please others. Their contrasting personalities make them almost complete opposites (despite having similar interests), but instead of making them rivals, makes them great friends who balance each other out. Additionally, they refer to each other as the "two assholes" of their close-knit friend group: for good reason, a couple being that they both have extremely offensive senses of humor and sarcastic tongues to boot.
- Atka: Another one of Skipper's long time friends, Atka and Skipper's personalities match each other exceptionally well, which worked to their advantage when they first met. Becoming friends in an instant, their conversations were and still are almost always playful banter or about the common interests they share (video games, for one), and can go on for ages due to their passionate natures. Most of their playful banter are jokes referring to Atka's status as a reindeer (jokingly) and Skipper's short stature, or sarcastic remarks about how one is adapted to the cold better than the heat (Atka), versus the other's extreme discomfort in the cold (Skipper).
- Brigade: Skipper's long-time girlfriend, and one of the people she cares about the most. Skipper values Brigade's compassionate and understanding nature, and above all, how she has acted as a quiet source of strength without asking for anything in return. Skipper's emotional nature works well with Brigade's rational way of thinking, and they rarely clash on anything - and when they do, it gets resolved quickly due to both of them being readily willing to work things out. Skipper and Brigade have a very relaxed relationship - as a result of this, they joke around with each other often without worry - usually something in regard to Skipper's short stature, or Brigade's nationality.

- Mousse: They're long time friends; they're not incredibly close, but close enough. They get along really well.
- Stuart: Stuart is another one of Skipper's long time friends, and by far, the one Skipper looks up to the most. She believes her to be the most intelligent out of anyone she knows, as well as among the most hardworking types there is. While they share similar personalities, Stuart is by far the most patient and driven of the two, traits which Skipper admires greatly and strives for in herself. Skipper keeps this to quiet admiration, however, as she worries about coming off the wrong way and doesn't want to do anything that could ruin their close friendship. That aside, they have similar tastes and senses of humor, making for great conversation.
- Tori: Long time friends with matching kind personalities, they share a strong sense of curiosity about anything and everything there is to know. Tori's insightful nature helps with Skipper's inability to deal with her own emotions at certain points, adding to their bond. Both were slow to open up to each other at first, but once they opened up and became friends, things worked out just fine. They have equally strong senses of right and wrong, often in the same areas, giving them a lot of common ground for their friendship to stand on. They work well together but don't always see eye to eye on things, like change or routine - Skipper prefers the latter, while Tori tends to prefer the former.
